anyone use the nesdroid or snesdroid

I've only tried SNES, and only briefly. I think the controls are alright... probably better for games where you don't have to be super accurate or fast. Couldn't imagine playing, say, Mortal Kombat on it. I'm a big fan of old SNES RPGs, so I was playing a little Chrono Trigger. Controls are fine, actually better than I expected. The sound, however, is a bit choppy and tends to actually slow down (which drops the tone, as well. It's almost like someone slowing down a recording). This sucks, especially for games like Final Fantasy III(US) and Chrono Trigger, which have my favorite video game music.

I haven't really had the chance to go through all the settings and whatnot, so it might be able to function better with a little finagling.. who knows?
Hope this helps!

I should get NESoid, I bet it runs smoother seeing how the games are smaller

trying to figure out how to use these games on my EVO but all the answers I've found explain the controls with an onscreen keyboard or a physical keyboard. How are the controls used with the EVO?

They are on screen controls on the Evo, you just have to be sure to turn them on in the options menu after you start up the game. It works, but it isn't perfect.

I use SNESOID all the time to play games like Earthbound and Chrono Trigger. Anything that requires heavy use of the R or L buttons you can pretty much count out until we get an update for WiiRemote controls or a gamepad attachment.

When I had my Hero I had to use it without sound, however on the EVO I can use sound and it flows perfectly. The Virtual Onscreen keyboard is actually pretty good. It'll be better too once HTC fixes the grounding issue/multi-touch issue.

I tried NEsoid and I really didn't like the performance. I loaded up Mario 3 and it just seemed slow... Like, if the human eye can only detect fluid motion at a maximum of 24fps, then playing mario felt like it was 20fps. Just slightly slower than what it should be... Not as zippy as emulators i've used in the past for Windows Mobile and diffidently not as fluid as a NES.

Anyone have any ideas on why it seems like that?
