Help syncing incredible windows 7

i cant figure out how to put music on my incredible...i have it plugged in via usb and i have the drivers and i do the debugging mode and i have set it to disk drive...

what else can i try so that i can see internal memory so i can put music on it?

I have Windows 7 on my laptop and what you list that you have done is all I did and both "drives" pop up when I plug in the phone. Do you get anything coming up when you plug the USB in?

If you can see your phone memory, there is the "HTC sync" app at the root directory of the phone, you can try installing that. I have read where this helped for some people.

i keep getting driver errors when i try to install htc sync....

OK, THat might be your whole problem then. Try going into "Device manager" with the phone unplugged and unistalling anything that has to do with the phone under USB devices. Reboot the computer. Then install HTC sync, and try plugging the phone in.

EDIT: Also make sure you use the download in the second link I posted, the other one should have been the same, but did say it was for Iris.

In a somewhat related question, what are you guys using to transfer music to your DInc? I have been using media player, but the issue I am having is that about half of my album art is not transferring with the music.

Is there a good app out there that will get your album art for you? Is there a trick to ensuring your album art is also transferred?

I just treat the two drives (Phone and SD card) as hard drives and drag & drop what I want over to them. Since all my computers are on a wireless network, I don't even use the USB cable anymore. I just use "ESFile explorer" and drag and drop files to and from the phone wirelessly. A half hour TV show takes about 5 seconds!

Where do you find that app? Searched the Market and found nothing. Wireless data transfer from home would be awesome.
