Root Where are the new RC leaks!? C'mon, cough 'em up!

Is it just me, or does it seem like it's been, what, a couple months since the last Froyo RC leak?

Ok, maybe more like several days, but aren't you guys starting to jones hard for a newer 2.2 leak?

When the first couple came out so quickly one after the other (along with the multiple new baseband versions) it seemed like it was going to be raining Froyo leaks (that sounds odd, doesn't it?) on an almost daily basis.

I'm running well on BB Froyo v.2.0 plain vanilla, but looking forward to the next 2.2 RC to stumble out of Moto/Verizon's castle so we can continue the informal beta testing for them.

What I really want though is the source. I miss my transparent notification shade, and the nice little touches from the ROMs based on source.

I'm not trying to tick anyone off. But I think this thread totally supports my statements below. ... Even if redflea did deliver this message with a bit of humor and love.

Once again, my thoughts are validated why I didn't and will never get into the ROM and/or theme business. While it may not be entirely "thankless" ... the community definitely has a "what have you done for me lately" dynamic that makes it very hard on the devs. I don't envy them. Not at all.

I definitely agree, there's a lot of that mentality around. That's why if I find a developer, I try to throw a few bucks their way. Speaking of which, must donate to JRummy.

Very funny messenger haha...they do deserve more than they get its true. People always want more because they do such a good job cookin up these ROMs...I will continue helpin pete buy some cases of nattty or whatever and I will also continue being excited for the next release these forums continue to rock!

As for the devs, any of them who got into this mainly for the money is either quietly crazy or the worlds greatest optimist. I've donated to all the devs who's ROMs or apps I have ended up using/relying on, but let's face it, this is like public radio, there are always going to be a lot of people who benefit but don't donate. That's life. (And thanks for the caveat-Redflea, messenger - you got my drift.)

As for leaks - Hah...so there were some leaks out there hiding quietly. So Christmas may come again (and again...)

I'm not eagerly waiting another 2.2 RC leak, but I am, at least enjoying the ones we have.

I would much rather see that Google has released it officially, so then the Devs can start working their magic with it.

And from flashing Pete's latest, trying various themes and kernels, (and a stable backup I can always get back to), I'm happy with Froyo overall.

A few random reboots here and there, an app not behaving like it did before, a widget not loading or connecting are to be expected with a leaked "Release Candidate". (Hint, not ready for prime time)

But, I agree, these devs deserve our thanks, and I have also donated to Pete, and many others as well. And, really I'd buy Fab a beer or two, if he would ever setup a donate link.

Anyway, just my thoughts on the matter.

There may be a few posts a week of people who are expecting more releases, but for every person there are a hundred who simply don't post anything, because they just wait patiently for whatever comes out. No doubt they are thankful, and many voice this when ROMs are released and through donations. Why are the people making threads the only relevant people? >.<
