Accessories Bluetooth (Behind the neck) headphones...

Perhaps another option might be more comfortable for you, but not necessarily behind the back. Have you tried the sennheiser mm200? I got a pair for 104 at new egg.com. So far the best sounding and most comfortable A2DP stereo bluetooth compatible headset I've ever owned.

I've owned both the Motorola HT-820 and the Motorokr S9. Both were uncomfortable when wearing it for extended periods of time.

I'm looking for a decent set...

I HAD a set of the Motorola S9-HD, I say had because I was using them while cycling the other day, and they were cutting out so bad, I got pissed and just chucked them...

SO I'd like to see if there's a set that might cut out a little less...
I think your S9 might have gotten moisture into them. I had the Motorola S9, Motorola S9 HD, and the Motorola S305. They never gave me any trouble, but I am not one who sweats a lot (so that might help). The S9 lasted almost 2 years until the battery gave out. I am still using the S9 HD and the S305. I use it for both jogging and cycling.

I have also tried the Plantronics Backbeat and one that hangs like a necklace (can't remember the name). The Backbeat was incredibly flexible and can be folded to be fit into any pocket. One thing I find annoying is that they have a spring loaded toggle switch that acts as both volume and to change songs. Their reception is about the same as the Motorola. I returned them because when I used them for jogging they come/fly off the ear too easily. Shouldn't have a problem when using it to cycle.

I found that the Motorola S9-HD that I have works GREAT indoors, but has some issues in the open air with no walls around. I figure it is the typical Bluetooth issue of needing to be able to bounce off of walls and other objects to stay in the "area." You need to make sure that your radio (phone) is as close to the receiver (headset) as possible when in large open areas.

Just a thought that may help.

I bought these to use while running but don't have them yet. They should come in early next week. I can post impressions here after I get and use them for awhile if people are curious.

Just got my hands on these this morning. They actually arrived at my office on the 11th but I didn't even think to check the mail room since I ordered them with standard free Amazon shipping on the 9th. But NuForce still sent them priority mail which was nice. I'll try them in a couple hours after they finish charging and also take them out for a run today after work.

Welp I like the way the NuForce headset fits and all and the pairing was easy but I'm not getting any sound at all from the left speaker no matter what apps I try. Pretty disappointing. I don't know if this is a EVO specific problem or hardware defect. I emailed their support staff.

Edit: Those JBirds look pretty slick I might splurge on those if mine end up not working out.

I have jb-200's they are amazing, long charge, great sound, and they don't move when you put them on.

Best part is you don't have that giant bar behind your head, just a tiny little wire.

love them!

Wow they look very very slick indeed! Have you tried running with them, if so, do they joggle arround or anything which makes it even the slightest uncomfortable?

EDIT: Been looking over Ebay and other places on the internet, but simply can't find anywhere these are sold! Have anyone else had some luck?

i bought the S9 for use with mine in the gym and so far it has been hell. they hurt after so long and they pop out when you are doing almost any kind of workout to which you must press up against something. very frustrating when your body is elevating it's levels of adrenaline and testostoron and blood pressure, i tossed mine accross the gym(i was against a wall so across the gym was 5 feet :p)! there fine uif all you do is cardio, but my recomendations are to get something that resembles ear buds in some way on a wire.

Ah so the others have been discounted ? That explains it. When will these bluebuds then be available and is it just me or are these pure technical wise not worse ? for instance "only" 4 hours play time. I've been looking at the jaybird sportsheadband sb1 as well, but dunno how great it is with foam pads while running. Can anyone confirm whether they are great / suck for running ? :) thanks

EDIT: I'm going to the United States at August, Miami, and I'm planning on buying a pair of Jaybirds, hopefully the bluebuds if they are out in the stores by then. As a European I don't know much about the stores in America, and which that sells Jaybird. So could somebody from Miami just anyone who knows,if there are any shops in Miami that sells Jaybirds and if so, which? :)

Well I have the S9, S9HD, and the Panasonic BackBeats and by far the Panasonics have the best sound. A trick I use to do with the S9's is I would take a rubberband and put it around the ear pieces and leave it in my car because the heat makes them lose their regidness then I would take them in the house in the cool and let them cool off the remove the rubberband. They would hold their shape for about a week unless they got real hot.

Man, I almost finally pulled the trigger on a set of headphones... thanks a lot. Let me know how customer service pans out and if you get a new set.

I just googled "panasonic backbeat" and nothing exists. There is a Plantronics and an Altec Lansing. I'm guessing you meant the plantronics?
