My Dream Phone

I like aspects of WebOS and Android. I like gestures and multitasking better on WebOS

The eye candy may not be as nice as webos, but if you want a card like task manager, download taskOs. It pretty much emulates the cards but you don't get a actual screen shot of what you were doing. I like it and it is customizable.

Taskos isn't as elegant but it gets the job done. I hope Android gets a bit more visually appealing. I like Webos's elegance and simplicity and Android's customization. Congrats on your 200th post!

Froyo was a tweak for optimization and stability, They say gingerbread will focus on the bling bling. ;) I hope so too. We'll see.

That's funny. I actually posted this on facebook a few weeks ago:
I think I've finally figured out what I want in a cell phone! The hardware quality and app store of an iPhone, with the hardware features and screen of an EVO, running Palm's webOS, with a network footprint of Verizon, with the 3G speed of AT&T, with Sprint's plan prices and features, all running on T-Mobile which has the lowest percentage of dropped calls in the US ...and is GSM instead of CDMA. Okay engineers, get to gettin!

And I want a polka dotted tiger that can fly and take me for a magical ride. LOL :D

Nice dreaming, but why ATT 3G Speeds? Why not blanket coverage Sprint 4G speeds that can penetrate bunkers and basements.

And dual CDMA/GSM radios. There are countires such as Japan that dont have broad GSM networks.

Well in some cases T-Mobile's HSPA+ is faster than WiMax, so lets say HSPA+, WiMax, and LTE compatibility. Plus I'm not going to Japan, so I'm fine with GSM. Lol.

my dream phone..

15 years from now+ before it could happen...

A 4.5" piece of glass, with a small section at the bottom with the radios and a few buttons.

Glass so it looks cool, and there would be no bezel, a true 4.5" screen

No battery because it gets it's power from radio waves. So you never have to worry about battery life. By that time signal strength will be so good that you wont have to worry about losing signal and not having battery power. And a micro chip planted in you that controls the phone without you talking. Brain-to-Text if you will. :D

But hey, I'm just dreaming..:p
