I'm just not getting it. How do add files/folders to the android Dropbox? I've copied files and folders into the /sdcard/dropbox folder but they don't show up in the Dropbox app nor are they synched to my PC Dropbox. I don't see a way to paste into the app.

In the Dropbox app I see "Upload" then "Add any file" but the only options are to add a photo, music or voice recorder file. I was hoping to use it to back up some ebooks and data files to my desktop.

Once you have Dropbox installed on your main computer, just put what ever files you wish to sync in the drop box folders it create. and when you install Dropbox on your phone, you sign in, which then will sync your computer, website and phone applications within those folders.

Then all you do is open which ever folders you want to see, either on computer or application on phone and you shall see your files and you can install .apk files right from the application on your phone.

Once you open the application on your computer/phone it will auto sync the files in those specific folders. I leave my computer Dropbox program open 24/7, so I can just drop something in there, and its auto synced to the phone/website, when I want it i just open it.

Install Astro or eStrongs file manager and then those options will show in the Dropbox App, so you can select any file to upload.

Hope this helps

Do yourself a favor and get HomePipe.
Only if you want to leave your home PC running all day long while at work. I don't.

Nope, Estrong's didn't show up for me. I even uninstalled/reinstalled after I saw how Astro worked as I do prefer Estrongs.
