Root Unrevoked - Easy method released?

To those of you who are wondering... This is NOT what you're looking for.

the thing is is there any easy process to root them phone yet? I feel the unrevoked team is going to come out with a real simple way, atleast that was what I thought. Right now it seems kind of hard to root the incredible. In my opinion it shouldnt be like that.

I would not install apk.'s till you know EXACTLY what they are.. Just hold off.. It is probably the nandroid unlock anyways. They said they are making an easy method after the Nandroid unlock is, well, unlocked lol. So it's coming soon!

I think that apk is currently for the Evo and Hero, it isn't the newest software that they are working on

DO NOT USE THIS... it is for the EVO 4G not the incredible.. i'm pretty sure of this and unless someone from unrevoked comments and says otherwise i'd just take my word on it

Did you watch the video? Although I have not tried it, he says specifically that it is made for "your EVO 4G or your Incredible".

the thing unrevoked is makeing will be and .exe not apk bc it is ran on the Computer... what u have i think is the root method for evo

More importantly, did YOU watch the video? It has absolutely nothing to do with the apk that's been posted. The video is a teaser for Unrevoked's soon to be released recovery reflash. The apk that's been posted is root for the Evo 4G and Hero.

Again, it bears repeating since some can't seem to get past it... the video has nothing to do with the apk that's been posted.

Agreed, this is going to be very misleading to the mobile viewers who instantly click the thread and then click the apk

Yes, it is misleading, but what is in the video DOES apply to the incredible, the APK does not.
