Market hangs at starting download...

Had a rough day. I'm rooted, and to fix a problem, I had to RUU and re-root, and fortunately, I had a recent Nandroid to restore with. Now, when I select an app to download from the market, it just hangs at "starting download" I have tried with wi-fi, with mobile network, have cleared cache from market, have rebooted. Any ideas, guys? Thanks!

EDIT: I setup the gmail acct as before, same name, all my contacts are properly synced..I'm at a loss.

i had that same exact problem and nothing seemed to work. the only way i got it to start working was when i clicked to download an app, i let it sit at the "starting to download" phase and about an hour or two later it started to work. idk what caused it but that was the only way i got it to work and i havent had any problems since. try that out, its all i could think of sincde it worked for me.
