Help Geotag photos..

Hi Kwozzii :)

If you go to the camera app -> Press Menu -> Press settings -> Make sure "Store location in pictures" is Ticked -> Make sure the GPS is on when you take the photos

Now every time you take a photo the Location details should now be recorded with the photo {Geo-tagged} :D

You have to Go to the Camera {Like your taking a picture} -> Press the "Menu" button on your phone -> Then select settings :)

I checked it for the 5th time, there is no such option in my settings. Are you checking it in a T-mobile Pulse?
I wonder what am I missing here, there are only these options:

Camera:
show captured picture
Picture resolution
White balance
Color effects

Video camera:
Show recorded video
Mute during recording video
Video resolution
Video size

Ok i suspect that T-mobile has changed the Camera app too, and made it dumber, like the Contacts app. We don't have any options to change which folder to sync from google contacts, it always syncs all contacts.

So we'll have to change to a stock android rom sooner than later, this one gets more and more annoying.

Hi Bounty

I share those frustrations with you, I've had a look and those options are not available through T-Mbile. I've had a quick look through the market for a new app to handle the camera, nothing comes up for my searches.

Let us know if you find one!

there's an app called snap photo available in the market. it has the option mentioned above. i tried it on my pulse and works fine.

I have just recieved a pulse and was looking to geo-tag photos and display them somehow.

I have tried the default camera, snap photo and camera magic. Every time I share with picture map it says that geo-information is missing.

I have the December update for bar code scanner fix. Now I am unsure if they are untagged or if the display program is flawed. Any thoughts?

Almost a month in. Still using the December patch and generally loving the phone, except the poor battery. Now have a host of favourite applications, but still not manged to solve the geo-tagging photos issue.

Not getting anywhere... I think the geotag is supposed to have long/lat in the EXIF information. Have downloaded an application to look at the tags.

How would one go about finding the 'default 1.5 camera application'? and installing it.

Had a similar (or perhaps the same) problem on my galaxy note running andoid 4.0.4 and stock standard camera app. It is not obvious, but u can actually scroll the settings window down and GPS tagging is almost at the bottom. UI problem as far as I can see.
