Woodyman and the Droid Concepts team has put together a new Succulent Desire ROM, and stratt has made a themed version. You'll want to check them out. Instructions and screen shots are in the links.

Succulent Desire:
[Release] Succulent Desire Froyo v 2 - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

Atlantis Blue:
[Release] Atlantis Blue 2.2 Froyo - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

These ROMs gave me the best benchmarks I've ever had on 2.1 and they didn't fail to disappoint again. Combined w/ Jake's 1GHz kernel, I was able to get 1505 on Quadrant (previous best was 1404 on BBeast).

EDIT: I did want to point out that the installation method is via nandroid on SPRecovery. Currently, the only way they'll work.

So, what ya think of the ROM, Branndon? I love the speed, it's truly unmatched (and I've been using both BBeast and NexFro). For what I need, it gets the job done.
To be honest, it was very fast at the stock 800mhz. I really didn't like the theme though. I thought the tweaks which changed it from NexTheme were ugly. Also with the same 1.25 kernal installed, I scored 100 less than Kangerade. So I went back to my old rom. If the theme was plain, or adjustable to nextheme, I may try it, but I scored better with my other rom.

Gotta love the Droid community, if one shirt doesn't feel quite right, there's another store right next door w/ more options. It's been explained, but I still think it's weird how no two Droids perform the same or take the same way to the same software. It's fun, though. Helps give us flashaholics a means for our fix. lol
