iOS 4.0 and lots of bugs

I believe the 3GS etc don't get the multi-tasking. Only the iPhone 4.

I've already got multitasking on my 3Gs, been able to do that for a year already! Jailbroken iPhones are the only iPhones worth having.

But for unjailbroken iPhones, I believe the 3Gs will get the "multitasking" with iOS4, but the 3G and original won't, I don't think they have enough CPU/RAM to do it, as far as Apple is concerened. Doesn't matter anyways, I hear the "multitasking" is really limited right now, and not very good. The folders thing, though, people will love that. Having folders was the thing that convinced me to jailbreak my phone within a week of getting it, makes it SO much cleaner and better organized!

I tried updating my ipod last night to take iOS 4 for a test drive but it failed so I'm going to try again today. Is multitasking working for you?

Multitasking is working for the most part to what I have seen so far. But I don't see a easy way of just closing the app. Instead you have to hit home, then hit it twice again, then hold the icon, and hit the - to close it. A lot of trouble imho.

The multitasking is always going to be limited by what Steve Jobs wants to allow the users to be able to multitask. (god damn that sounded redundant)

I have a jailbroken iphone 2g and it probably multitasks better than the 3gs on iphone ios4. My apps truly run in the background. For example, if i am playing a game and hit the home button, it takes me to the home screen whilest i can still hear my game running live in the background. (Of course its better to pause before you go to the home screen due to the fact that you are not playing it and risk losing the game lol)
