I use beautiful widgets, messaging widget (although don't really care for the latest update), meridian media player, genie widget, android guys widget, dazzle, nfl feeds, and audio manager.

Also use sysmonitor for battery percentage in the notification bar, a lot better than the widgets as you can see it without being on the home screen.

Application Dock-only on GDE home...AMAAAAZING!!!
Messaging Widget
Automatic Task Killer
Countdown Widget
Mixzing Media Player
Colornote Notepad
DigiClock Widget

I agree with CrazyNight, widgets are way better than icons! Wish they made an address bar one for the internet. Would be so much easier to go to websites without waiting for the first one to load!

Since the 2.1 OTA I have noticed "Get more HTC widgets" at the top of the list when I go to "Add HTC widget". Is this new since the update, or was I just not very observant before?

Have any of you tried these widgets? I looked into a couple, but they seem to use a lot of memory considering the simple tasks they perform (Battery meter, Coin Flip, Dice, etc.) I might try "Notes" though. The ability to quickly scribble a note is something I used quite a bit on my Palm Zire71. Just curious.......

Yes this is new as of 2.1.. Ive tried the note pad and daily challenge but most of those seem pretty useless to me. I know the battery widget uses up the battery like a mofo so i wouldn't use it. I hope they update the list at some point. It has potential to be a useful addition to 2.1
