Ordered from a seller named "cell-a-lot." Static cling screen protector. 3 in a pack for $3.28. Went on fairly easily and if you screw it up you've got two more tries. I think these static cling ones are reusable too, though this is my first experience with them. The screen looks and feels like the original glass. The only way you can tell the screen protector is on there is because of the cutouts for the light sensor, speaker, and camera. The only issue I have is that said cutouts are just a tad too big, so the fit doesn't look absolutely perfect. Not sure if this is true of other screen protectors. Regardless, for three bucks I am completely satisfied and see no reason to spend $10-20 on a name brand screen protector.

Why use one? Unless you're in construction you're really not going to need one, that or if you're around dremmels and saws and whatnot all day. The screens on our phones, though they don't like staying in place very well, are HIGHLY scratch resistant. I've seen the video of that one guy on here doing all the nails and keys on his screen, and I went and I've also done this to my Hero quite some time ago. I did it to my Evo, almost exactly with all the same stuff (couldn't find a screw, used a nail) and I can attest that I'm still not going to use a screen protector on this phone or any touch screen device that has this type of glass.

i mainly use screen protectors because i find wiping off fingerprints/smudges/etc come off easier when a screen protector is on, as supposed to wiping them off the actual screen.

sounds like these are working fine for people. i keep getting bubbles on my clarivue ones, so maybe i'll buy these as a cheap alternative.

Got the same 3 pack. They go on like the Sprint store ones two but cover the bottom buttons as well, in like the Sprint screen covers. So far so good. The fit is not exact but not bad.

Sent from my PC36100

not exact, as in it comes up a little short towards the bottom of the phone? or doesn't reach fully to both sides (left to right) of the phone?

what does the "mirror" protectors do? is that their version of anti glare? those are on ebay too and might give those a try too...
The mirrored screen protectors are just like a screen protector, and they are, but they also add the feature of making your phone's screen a mirror when the screen is off. When it's on, you can see right through it and your screen functionality is not hindered. However, anti-glare is the way to go if you're an outside person. Helps with the sun.

I just ordered a pack of 5 from ebay since for some reason, the protectors from bestskinever kept leaving streaks on the htc evo. I tried 3 of them and they all did the same thing so I bought ebay ones.

They're okay. I used just a drop of water and a little soap and it went out and stayed put but for $2 for 5, i'm not expecting much.

The reason why people put protectors on the screen is because, well.......shit happens.

i'm completely satisfied with these. first protector i put on had no bubbles, and fit pretty well besides coming up a tad on the short side, but no big deal at all. an absolute steal at $3 and change.

I bought the 3 pack too. One came bent on the corner, the other 2 were fine. The supplier is sending me a new one to replace the bent one. So far these work great. Slightly too short as there is about a 3mm gap on the bottom under the touch buttons that did not get covered. Not really an issue for me. For the price, these perform great.
