Generally phones have legitimate issues that have to get fixed, but it doesn't really appear to be so. Sure there are isolated issues, but nothing too debilitating (IMO).

Try to keep it realistic. Also, nothing 2.2 related since its not even officially released.

-Better battery life (not sure the best way to accomplish this - just overall optimization I guess)
-Remove the FPS cap.
-Improve wifi range (not sure if this is software or hardware related)

The blessing of running a stable OS and a stable interface is that there aren't many glaring issues, but there isn't too much room for improvement IMO.

Forgot about the grounding thing. Doesn't really affect me so its "out of sight, out of mind" for me :D

Edit: How about the ability to use Sprint TV over Wifi. I think the Pre can - I hate that I have to use it over 3G

Yep, I never would've noticed the grounding issue had I not read it on this forum! But now that I know it's there, it just lingers in the back of my mind

Sprint TV over WIFI would be amazing. Doesn't make much sense that something so data intensive can only be used on 3G.

Grounding issue - wasn't an issue to me before, but this morning when I woke and the phone was on the bed next to me, I couldn't unlock it unless I picked it up.

Sprint TV - over wifi would be great when I'm at the coffee shop that has weak 3G coverage.

Improved battery life - a mostly non-issue for me, but who's going to cry about a more efficient OS?

More speed - yes, the Evo is snappy. I'm a geek. More speed.

How about starting from scratch with a functional browser, something akin to the stellar iPhone browser? The EVO browser is terrible !

What exactly is your issues with the Evo browser? I think its great. I had a iphone and used Safari and it was always crashing, the Evo stock browser has been fine for me.

and as someone else said there are many 3rd party browsers to use.

The ability to remove applications that are never used. For example there is Google Maps, Google Navigation and Sprint Navigation. Do we really need all of these? For some maybe, but for most of us one will do. I'm never going to use Footprint because I use Flickr, so it's just taking up space in my phone.

Fix the apparent facebook data issue.

This.

Also the "my contact card" glitch that when you scroll through your text messages it snaps back to the newest one.

Also I can stand directly next to my Dlink -DLG4500 gaming router and somehow only have 1-2 bars of signal.

Oh and fix 4G in the Raleigh area. Sprint acknowledged the problem and said it could take until September to be fully functional.

I actually like the browser that comes on the Evo much better than that of my old 3GS. It scales the text to fit the screen when zooming in. The iPhone - not so much.

I'd like to see "N" wireless and the framerate fixed. Other than that, I'm perfectly happy with the software.

1. Have the HDMI port be compatible with more televisions.
2. Automatically change settings on phone when plugged in versus battery so things like uncapping 30fps or 4g radio can be set to not drain the battery, but go hog wild when charging.
3. Remove the bloat-ware. I'm never going to use Sprint Nascar or PEEP or Sprint Football Live... I should be able to get rid of 'em easily.
4. Have all video/screen actions be able to send out via HDMI port.
