This is my second Evo. The first one I received, I immediately updated everything; PRL, profile, firmware, HTC updates, etc. There were no issues. I exchanged it for a new one because the Sprint store I bought my first one from sold me a barely used phone (it was used and returned within one day) since they were out of stock. A few days later, they called me and asked if I wanted to exchange it for a brand new one as their shipment of new phones came in. I said, "Sure, why not?" I exchanged my phone for the new one, and sure enough after 2 days of use, the screen is separating and light is leaking from under the home button. Both phones, btw, are build 003. Day 5 (yesterday) I decided to update everything as I forgot to do so when I exchanged for my new phone, and afterwards immediately decided to change the wallpaper. The wallpapers were taking forever to load, so I went into gallery instead. They still took forever. I went into Astro to look for the pictures manually, and they weren't showing up. Finding this strange, I mounted my sd card and looked for the pictures finding all but 20 pictures remaining from the 200 I previously had, and none of my videos. Not only that, but the new phone came with several more defects. Whenever I plug my phone into the computer, it immediately mounts sd card, which is ANNOYING as hell when I'm watching something or flipping through pictures or doing anything involving using the contents of my sd card only to get interrupted to unmount, even though the default is always set to "Charge Only". I don't even unselect and reselect "Charge Only" to unmount, I just slide down the notification bar and press "Done" and it unmounts. I'm using a 16 gb sd card that I had previously used on my Nexus One. It has an EXT-4 partition as well that I never formatted. I don't know if that information helps, but if anyone can figure this out, +1 internets to you
