handcent supports led colour

hi i have just updated to the latest version and it now supports different led colours

Yeah, I have a good few of my most contacted people set as custom icons and would have been good to have matching LED colour for them...

Maybe in another update...

Great idea in principle, but doesn't quite work yet. Regardless of the setting I choose, the LED never flashes for more than a few seconds when I get a text (as opposed to the 5 minutes it flashed for before).

I have emailed the developers to let them know, so hopefully this will be fixed soon. In the meantime, I have had to uninstall Handcent (sadly) as I need my flashing light!

Sorry I should have been clearer. It doesn't flash, or illuminate whatsoever, after a few seconds, regardless of the blink rate setting or colour.

Are you using the test button? Because this doesn't work, you have to send yourself a text to test the led flashing.

Must have sent myself about 20 test texts with the different settings. The bulb changes colour great, it's just the light goes off after about three seconds after receiving the text.

Don't get me wrong, I still prefer Handcent over the stock, but until this is fixed I'm afraid I will have to revert back to the stock.

That's a setting somewhere I think. I found it reset a lot of my settings too
