iPhone 4 hardware and software issues already starting

The sad thing is this is the 4th year of the iPhone and Apple only has to maintain QC on 1 handset, you would think they would be able to do a great job...

Saw my first irl iPhone 4 today. The screen is smaller than my Incredible. The added resolution seemed less significant than expected. Colors on my Inc are more vivid (of course, the contrast ratio is ~11x better). The iPhone is also thicker than I thought it would be. I guess 3mm isn't as much as I thought. It looked okay, not as nice as the pictures had made it seem. Touch scrolling in the default browser was smoother than it is in my Inc.

If the iPhone 4 was on Verizon and running Android I might consider it. I don't know which one I would go for... I feel like I would stay with my Inc because the screen is bigger, I really like AMOLED, and I think I like the looks of my Inc better. Meh, it might just be sour grapes, I'll never know for sure.

Dude they're just dead pixels and yellow spots. How the hell is that going to hurt you when you're running a business. And the signal thing isn't even a problem. Reviewers said that it's just a bug with the bars, and it's actually receives signals a little better (not much, but better then the 3G).

OMFSWEETJESUS! It sounds like they got more problems with their devices earlier than some of us with "inferior" devices have had in the first few weeks!

I just updated the hubby's 3GS and am less than impressed with the new OS. You can do just so much more with the android os. Hopefully his Inc. will be in next week and we can pawn his current iPhone off on some Apple fanboy for more than we paid for it originally!

Android has about 1/4 the amount of iPhones being currently used according to the stats in the video below. Using the iPhone for about 3 years I can say the product is not going in a direction that suites my needs,...I'm sure there are others that feel the same way.Glad I jumped ship.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we see a larger Retina screen on the iPhone for their next installment...all these large screen Android devices are making the iPhone 4 look tiny.

If only people would not blindly follow...

I'm not saying android is perfect.. but, when I still thought an n1 was possible.. I made sure to check out every possible flaw that it might have..

The sad part is.. Some of them probably knew to expect potential problems because, they are early adopters.. I can at least somewhat feel bad for them.. they took a gamble it didn't pay off..

The others.. are people who blindly believe that apple's products are always "perfect" and "just work"..

Well.. sorry to say this.. but, in order for any product to become 'perfect' your going to have to make a lot of mistakes..

It is a shame that people are still going to view apple as a status symbol and literally fight tooth and nail to get one.

Just checked out iPhone 4 for the first time in person. Retina display is nice and looks HD other than that it doesn't impress me. Screen looks tiny after being on the EVO.
