Help Change font in HTC mail app

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the font in the HTC mail app?

At the moment it's on Times New Roman (looking at the e-mails I've sent) but we use Arial 10 at work.

This is with exchange mail.

You can only change the font size, is the stock font really that bad??? Looks and works fine for me.

I have the same issue. HTC Desire and email from Exchange 2007 with ActiveSync. I think it does look bad. It shows the font on the Desire screen as Arial or whatever you are replying to, but when you reply and someone replies back you can see the Times New Roman font has been happily chosen for you and for your text only. It looks crap in fact and makes it look like I am using a 15 year old email client that is confused by the concept of fonts. Yes I know what you are thinking, but it's 2010 so it's not too much to expect an email to look at least partially legible and not like dot matrix print. I think the Jesus Phone may have a tendency to do the same thing in certain conditions, so it may be an ActiveSync thing.

Basically what SjW-a said, it looks really bad when replying to clients, Times New Roman is a horrible font.

It's made worse by the company I work for using a certain font and we're all supposed to use this.

You can setup signatures and change the font size, although would that only change it on the Desire? So why can't you change basic things like a font?

As an ex-graphic designer i had to chortle at someone calling Times New Roman "crap" and "unprofessional". You're entitled to you opinion of course, but id say it's neither of those two things - although it's clearly not the best serif face, that lies with the beautiful Perpetua

Blackberry exchange mails are times new roman. cant get any more professional than a blackberry.

I could be wrong, but doesn't the HTC email app send messages as plain text? I think that would mean there's no way of changing the font other than the person reading the message changing the way they view plain text emails.

Times New Roman makes me want to vomit.. I can't imagine anyone thinking I use it on purpose

my outlook is set to use a sans serif font for plain text emails, yet everything i send to myself from my android to test, comes out as TNR

I'm a bit ADD/OCD, so this is driving me berzerk

BUMP - Drives me crazy too.

I see that there are apps such as Enhanced Email that purport to do this. Anyone have any idea of where we could get a response from Android or HTC Dev Teams on this issue?
