Hello! I've had the G1 for little over 24 hours. This forum is great. I got everything up and running straight away with the essential apps all running sweet! I also ordered a 8GB Kingston Micro SD yesterday morning for £10.50 all in. Anyone interested might want to check out ebay item: 320349423407
It said Royal Mail 1st class standard, but it came this morning Recorded and I can confirm it's completely genuine retail packed. I just thought I would let everyone know as I thought it was a good deal.

anybody had latitude appear in the map menu? i had it a couple of days ago, thought i'd check with this forum,but by pm it had gone! oh well, what i hav'nt had i wont miss. "street view" works well on laptop, but not on G1! aint it wonderfull.happy with RC9,starting to get that sweetooth feeling again,roll on teatime!

ive had my g1 just over a month now and rather impressed with how good some of the features are. rooted a day after getting it and have latitude enabled through the market app latitude enabler for root. only down side to the phone is the battery life, it has died a couple times on me while out.

Street View works on american streets but thats it

street view works on major uk citys now and very good it is too. also paris and other european towns.even the compass mode operates.latitude will give a menu item but will not load. battery life gives 3/4 day worst to 2,1/2 best(2g only selected)...roll on tea time!
