what deals did you guys get when getting your G1 if you don't mind me asking

I got mine back in early November before they announced the new deal. It was a contract upgrade but I actually managed to get it for £30 a month and the phone for free which is basically the deal they are offering now.

Cambridge/Suffolk here, got my droid this week after being devoted to a blue angel with WM6 (htc touch added) for 3 years. Got tired of having a brick in my pocket.

A few pence under £30 a month due to the new VAT cut with unlimited(cough capped) web, G1 was free

Any of you guys managed to get 3G yet? I havent been in to cambridge to the office to check, and Im stuck with 2G at home so I use wireless

Yup I get 3G. at home it's a bit patchy but every network struggles in my place, it's just the way it's situated but I do get it but out and about it's fine and seem to get pretty much full 3G all the time

damn you guys are lucky, I cant wait to get back to work next week and see I have a 3G icon rather than the plain old G
