I enjoy my HTC Eris very much! I am glad I have moved on from the Blackberry market. What makes me mad is the battery, it is a love hate relationship, but majority of the time it is all love!

= you can't attach contacts via sms or mms, top of phone case(s) hinders top keyboard buttons (ive tried 3), why Google Voice requires an invite...... AND why any developer's haven't launched thee "Who gives a Shit" App: So when people like Tiger Woods cheats on his 69iron and his wife, the News won't consume every station, blog, podcast, White House Cabinet meeting, etc..etc- I can start the app. AND the news will start reporting on relevant topics: Like who served the stuffed mushrooms to the infamous couple that crashed a big House party somewhere in D.C.....

Sorry, what was the question...Ah yes, I am very happy with the Droid, and it's attributes. I've had a BlackBerry for 7yrs, tried the I-Phone 3g for a month, went back to bberry, and this is the first phone I've been exited about, and still excited using it.

I don't like the fact that it is not truly a hands free phone.... I cannot use my bluetooth to call anyone and you have to pick up the Droid to do it

Love my droid,...love everything about my Droid,... except it's soooo dang time consuming,... LOL,.. yeah it saves some time here and there,.. but I'm addicted to my Droid--ha ha ha need a program for that,.. or an app will do,...

I agree with eskay,.. it's not truly a hands free phone with the bluetooth issues,... perhaps AT&T could coin an add campaign out of that,.. show schoolzones,..and show a NO DROIDS in USE here zone sign,.. LOL,...

I still Love my Droid,

It is hands free by specification but not yet voice ported for pre call bluetooth mic replacing onboard mic. Not sure it can do this, but it's specs say it can. Time will tell. I plan on getting the mobile docker anyway and using the speaker and it's voice recognition which is powerfull and safer and probably why it's not yet defeated to use bluetooth... with a few contacts ( i have about 600), you still had to fiddle with the phone or repeated try to get proper listed contact to call.

I think Droid Eris is ok, had it 2 weeks, but now all sudden a pop up window is asking me for password to my google account, i put password in and still says put in password, i looked closer at the gmail address and now i see 2 numbers added to my gmail address, so now i cannot log into anything, did anyone have something like this? i do not know how the 2 numbers were added to my gmail addy.
I cannot get back to my correct gmail address on the Eris and google will not answer

i would complain about the battery but it's my fault i'm on this thing so much goofing around!!

i wished i used my keyboard more but i just dont. i dont like hitting the search button by mistake.. user error
i dont like the .025 second screen glitch here and there. screen lag soooooometimes.
i dont like pocket dials.
i wish the market they had what kind of phone people had when commenting.
i HATE HATE HATE the hissing when on a phone call.

Sure, the batter could be better. But for the most part, I can get through the day w/ no prob, so it's not a biggie. I'd say the biggest thing I have a problem w/ is the way picture messaging comes in. It's apparently an Android thing, though, not a Droid issue.
