Streetview won't move

I've had my G Tablet for two weeks and have rooted to Vegan Tab. I can access Street View, but the picture is static. On my iPhone I can pan left and right and move forward and back, but in the native Android enviroment I have no such flexability. I get only a single static picture. Any similar issues or suggestions?

Did you download Streetview from the Market? I think you have to do that so you can use the little pegman to move around.

I feel really stupid about this

situation, but street view now has compas view which I was not familiar with. Once I realized how to change modes everything worked as I expected.
