has any one got these and do they work ok or do you think the phones build quality is good enough with with stand a few years of ware and tear with out them?

I was considering getting a case to, but after actually getting a feel for the phone, it's such a nice material that I don't want to be holding a plasticy cover over it. The screen is also anti-fingerprint marks any way.
I am now thinking of getting a phone sock or pouch to protect it from scratches when I'm carrying it around, like in my pocket, because the phone itself feels perfect as it is, 'naked' lol.

The Hero seems pretty robust but I've got Clear Protector's "Full Armour" on mine as I use it in a fairly dirty/dusty work environment. I'm looking for a hard case like the one a mate has for his iPhone - adds hardly any bulk but gives protection against knocks/scuffs etc.

Hi slug,

I've just bought a black silicone rubber [protector more than case] complete with 2 screen protectors for about £3-50 GBP off e-bay, my hero has survived an approx. 4ft drop onto concrete, [got the protector just in time].

Haven't got the complete address but it's 88 something from Newcastle.
as it's only 1mm thick it's not too bad.
