Hey,I'm new to this phone. So I have a question. If I have a 1.6 android version and if I root this phone with this rom I will have 2.2 version,yes?

Well yeah, this rom will update you to 2.2. But you aren't running 1.6 right now unless you've already rooted; do you mean 1.5?

If you go to your homescreen -> Menu -> Settings -> About Phone, what is your build number listed as?

Maybe you could give me a guide how to root this rom ?

But could you sugest me to run something from this page? Hero, G2 Touch Android Development - xda-developers There are so many variants

Maybe a rom by elelinux ?

Or something else?
