Hey Folks,

My phone memory is getting out of disk space, i want to move all my apps to SD card, and going forward i would like to have my default memory as SD CARD. So that whenever i install any apps by default it should get installed in SD Card.

I am using HTC Hero - 2.1 - India version.

Going by this picture, is your phone CDMA (left) or GSM (right)?

Mine is GSM, in india we only have the GSM version of Hero

Well, the only way to get apps2sd running on the Hero is root the phone and run custom firmware. You cannot do what you want to do whilst using your current firmware.

Rooting is a fairly involved process, but it's not that hard to do. It does void your warranty though, so you would have to undo all of this if you ever needed it repaired.
