I want to debrand from t-mobile to three. i have the HTC software to update it to three but keep getting error 131. Ive tried everythink. What do i need to do for it to work. tried goldcard but not sure if i did it right(sure i did) or if its even needed?
If you want to unlock it to change networks, me and mum did this thing, cost around £20, all you do is send them the imi number (what ever it's called under the battery) and they send you a code you type into your phone, well, they send it by email, we had my Hero unlocked from T-mobile to Tesco that way. Debranding is not the same as unlocking; it's switching out the branded firmware put on by your mobile network for the original one created by HTC.
(Although in this case it's technically just switching branded firmware, not debranding).

sorry to burst your bubble m8 but tesco lease the line from t-mobile so it would have worked without it been unlocked
