Hi, my phone can rarely send texts first time, I get the message "Unable to send message after multiple times, retrying..." so I've contacted HTC, they've told me to restore settings ect.

So my problem is, if there is a problem with my phone, and they ask me to take it, i have a recovery installed, and if they see this, they may say its my fault and not repair it.

So how do i restore absolutely everything to original?

PS... Can anybody direct me where to download angry birds lite? I can't find it on market or anywhere :/

Installing the most recent official firmware update from HTC (or your carrier if applicable) will return your device to pristine condition by overwriting everything - boot, recovery, system and data.

Does the problem persist even if you change ROMs? I would've thought a problem like that was a software problem, not hardware.

I've only had one custom rom installed, think it was FroydVillian, and I think it still happened but not as often, anyway i put the official rom on, it occured around the same number of times, but recently its getting very often, and more than once in a row.

Orange say it isn't their problem, and when i had 1.6 on if i changed to 2g, it worked fine, at first i thought my contract had been cut off, but it hadn't (this was around a year ago).

try "calling" this code *#*#4636#*#* and click on phone information, scroll down to smsc and put in your smsc number for orange which should be listed here: http://smsclist.com/downloads/default.txt

you might not have to restore everything

Hi, changed it to one, it send the text I've been trying to send all day, seems to be sending every text now.

Tried the second orange one and it was just not sending them still, changed back and still works, so guess you've given me a solution, so thanks

Oh and for angry birds, I don't know if you know about "Slide Me" it is an alternate market app that you can get on the net via a pc, you might find it there...
