please help
i just installed villainrom 12.0.0 on my htc hero
the rom itself works great
but i cannot connect to my mobile network at all, it registers that im connected and has full bars, but when i try to go to the market, browser, facebook, the same error appears saying that a network problem has happened, or cannot connect to network

i seemed to try everything i could in the network settings and cannot figure this out

any help is greatly appriciated

Did you check the APN settings in network settings? try entering those provided by your provider. There are also websites that host lists of apn's for most of the carriers. That should fix it. You can also enter the code *#*#4636#*#* in your phone like you would want to call someone and a menu will appear where yopu can change network specific settings, but your APN's have to be the correct ones... what is your carrier maybe I can help you more when I know that?

fixed the problem, you were right it was the apn, when i went under settings to check it, there wasent even an apn in my phone.
i manually entered one and works great now
