Notsure Market download problems on 3g

I have had this problem for a while now and seen a few threads about it, but without a real solution. I can access everything fine while on 3g, internet market etc. but as soon as I try to download over 3g it says download unsuccessful. Works fine on wifi though… I have an HTC Hero running Froydvillain 1.7.2 (clean install). What I read on Cyanogenmods Site was that updating the PRL would do the trick. How do I do that on Froydvillain though? I can do the 4636 phone info code and set my preferred connection type but I see no update PRL option.

Thanks

Well I had to reinstall the Froydvillain again, because I messed up my phone with cachecleaning, and fixing permissions, installing s***loads of apps and such. At one moment my complete screen personalization was gone, so I decided that I do a clean install AGAIN. I mean I always did a complete wipe, u know the whole procedure for each ROM I installed so far. But now everything is fine including the 3g market issue, and this time I won't try fixing things that aren't broken, and won't install evey app I might use sometime, I keep my homescreen clean and only use the stuff I need. I am pretty sure the 3g issue had something to do with an app or a live wallpaper...

And now the problem is back, I don't understand this. Does anyone have a solution for this?
