FlyKernel development ceased

Just spotted this piece of bad news, posted by Erasmux a week ago, a few minutes ago.

I might return when I have more time to devout to android development. For my personal shake, I really hope I don't.

NOOOO. Oh well im going to replace the hero soon anyway. Its getting a lil outdated

Well that is a real shame, but I have to say a big THANK YOU to the devs who work so hard on making the android platform so much better, if they decide not to work on it anymore, than I respect that and wish them only the best. They have a life as well you know

The situation is somewhat less depressing than it was a month ago, as Elelinux appears to have had a change of heart and is churning out test builds of his 2.3 ROM like a man possessed.

The FlyKernel source code is also fully GPL-compliant, so it's available to any developer who wishes to continue using/improving it.
