Default Turn Off Typing Sounds?

Other than turning down the volume, is there a way to turn off the typing sounds? Also, is there a better app for typing and editing? I'm using the stock app that came with the March release of ICS.

Thanks

Head into Settings - Language and Input - there should be a setting for the Android keyboard - disable sound on keypress.

If you go under settings / language and keyboards / input , or some combination of that. I'm not 100% sure, it can be different depending on your device.

In there you should see an option to turn off keypress sounds.

Just because you ordered your meal, doesn't mean you can't look at the menu.
