OK, I was under the impression it was EVERY boot.
That was a problem that was fixed awhile back (along with other things), but I thought it was fixed by June.
I'd flash the latest nightly. Microphone and headphone fixes were in early July, so worth updating any way. See if it fixes your problem.
I used to shut down from a shortcut ( QuickBoot), then if it started to reboot, I'd shutdown from moboot. Worked every time. If you're going to drain the battery, you're asking for a boatload of trouble. There's people that had to crack open their case to charge the battery to bring it back from the dead... not fun.
