Some issues with taking pictures: so, Dorregeray has promised a "review 3" in the next 2-3 days that will take care of all these issues... and then we can use Camera... YIPEEEE!!!
Thanks Dorregeray!!! You rock!!!

The link is for preview3 (in the OP).
If you mean the blue screen, it probably was preview 2, but I read it yesterday about the time p3 came out.

R3 works really well. Skype works perfectly now. I could honestly care less about taking pictures as the camera quality isn't very great. Pulse be sure to donate to all the devs working on the TP who spend countless hours working for free.

It still has issues with some software and some blue screens.
I'll wait until it merged with CM10. (I have no use for a front-facing camera.)

I strongly recommend you stay with CM9 until CM10 comes out as a nightly and even then I would wait a while for some of the more experienced rooters to try it out.

I am doing a Nandroid restore b/c it's not very stable yet (reboots, even when in sleep mode/battery drain), but it is promising!

Reboots while sleeping is my only complaint.
Since I don't use my TP much, I can wait for the next build.
OTOH, CM10 on the Nook Color (beta 5) was just added to the repository with nightly builds. They also have about 5 devs where I think we have one.

CM9 camera is considered good enough for now and
code has been merged into CM9 nightlies again. The Dec 9 nightly should have the latest camera update.

Read the OP (first post). It'll tell you what camera apps do and do not work:
UNOFFICIAL CM9 with working camera - HP Touchpad Android Development - RootzWiki
Regarding your other problem (can't download), it sounds like you have a problem with your sdcard. Is it full? Can you see it from android? Did you get an error at startup when it checks the sdcard?

Can you copy files to/from it via USB?
All I know is that the sdcard is required to download files.

I think I have figured out what his problem is. He thinks something is wrong because he can't download the latest nightly from get.cm.
