how can i hide txt messages for the htc aria?

just read the manual and read a couple of websites im pretty sure that you cant hide messages, the most you can do i delete single messages.

I don't know how to hide SMS text messages, but I'd suggest you consider using GTalk (Talk). It has a setting called "off the record" in which conversations are deleted when the discussion is closed. It has advantages and limitations, but if both users have GTalk / Talk, it might be an alternative.

Works flawlessly.

In case you want to hide call logs too along with SMS, then try 'Leave No Trace'.
