Android 2.2 update

I've had an Aria for just over a month now. This morning it gave me a notification that a new version of Android was available, so I downloaded and installed. I'm just curious, can anyone tell me what new features/differences there may be now going from 2.1 to 2.2?
I'm with Optus, in Australia by the way.
