back light on keypad wont come on

Does anyone else have this problem?The back light on the keypad only works occasionaly, like 1 in 10 times so if it is dark I cant actualy use the phone as I cant see what buttons I am pressing. Realy frustrating and I dont think it is to do with the settings, as I say sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt, mostly not.I think I may have to take it back and get a new one. Pain in the but it takes ages to set it all up with the apps etc
