Default HTC ChaCha compatible with Google Earth [force close]

Is Google Earth compatible with the HTC ChaCha?

I can't download through the market (am in another country, and haven't got the market enabler/unlocker apps to work just yet).

And so I tried downloading the apk from another site, . It installs fine, but when I try to open the actual GE app I get a force close.

Is this a problem with installation, or is GE not compatible with ChaCha (small screen?)?

PS Google maps works fine. The thing is that I'd like to be able to pre-cache satellite maps, which I can't seem to do to the extent that I need on gmaps.

Update - got market unlocker to work, and saw that the problem is indeed that GE is NOT compatible with the ChaCha. Any hacks to GE that could make this possible, or other work arounds? Note the problem is how to be able to access satellite data via cache on sd card. Thx
