Default Edit Button not working

Hi,

Edit button is not working in my HTC Desire C. when i tap any shortcut in my home screen for long, an edit and remove button appear. but the edit button seems disable. i am not able to edit anything.

Any help will be highly appreciable.

I think it depends on the app or widget - not all of them can be edited. In fact, on my phone most of them can't be edited. This is an option for those widgets that provide options/settings which can be changed. Even then I've found with some of them they don't provide the "Edit" option and you have to remove the widget and re-add it in order to have access to the settings at the point of adding.
