Since the other one got removed (can't say I don't blame em as there were brawls and then personal brawls and off topic stuff...UPDATE: Since been restored, but at time of typing post, it wasn't there.
Please post things RELEVANT to the Desire HD and if you have news on the release in ANY COUNTRY please post it with a source. Thanks.
This is now the OFFICIAL International release info thread for the Desire HD covering prices from most markets. I will update prices as and when I spot or others spot
According to the link they "..will aim to deliver from 22nd October"
T-Mobile UK have officially got a page up listing their tariffs. Thanks alameals. Source on T-Mobile and This post
Rumour out from Orange UK say they will be carrying the device, but there is nothing on the site as of 20-10-2010. Rumour is free from £40 a month. No word on contract or plan or data allowance. Source. Thanks Vasilltino. Proof also supplied by Vasilltino . Orange have said to me however they do aim to release it sometime next month.
No official word on O2 UK as of 20-10-2010 but there is is a topic going off in there customer forum over there. See this link. Also according to this Link it won't be officially released on O2 UK at all and why will be answered to shortly?.
Three now have official tariffs up £40 a month 24 month deal, "One Plan"
Why have you created a new thread? The old HTC Desire HD UK release thread hasn't been removed. All that happened was you were warned by a mod over your behaviour. Just act like a grown up and move on. We don't need numerous threads on the same subject.

It was removed at time of creating thread in which it has since been restored.
Rumour mill keeps going, someone over on facebook says he went to T-Mobile and they said they will have it by the 14th, I don't see this happening to be honest
Well Mobile Phones Direct have advised there will be delays and they will aim to ship end of October. Basically what we already knew;
Code:
"
PLEASE ALLOW 17 DAYS FOR
FREE CITYLINK DELIVERY
We are an HTC ultimate partner - HTC have advised of delays due to Android OS testing. Limited stock is expected end Oct and we will supply Desire HD on a first ordered first delivered basis. Order Now and receive a Free 8GB memory card.
The fact that they are saying you get a free 8GB card is amusing because HTC bundle it in anyway!.
I can see now that waiting for someone to get it in a store is going to cause me problems. If someone apart from Vodafone could start letting me pre-order on their websites I would

So I take it you are wanting to go through official channels?
UPDATE: Post updated to include Sim Only deals for users buying Sim Free
Well according to a T-Mobile UK online rep, we get a 3GB usage limit and the phone is out today..I don't believe that, but take what you will, E.Chat screen below

I found this article, saying that a source from HTC denies any delay; it's all rumours. But it also says that an official release date is not determined.
I hate to muddy the waters, but I'm being tempted by the HD7 Windows phone, also due next week.
I have considered this too. Always open to the alternate option.

True, but take into consideration the market in 12 months time will be saturated with Android tablets and handsets in which I feel then Apple will be playing catch up to Android.

It's hard to get release info for Hong Kong and most Asian places. If you find any info, I'll stick it to the post .

In the article above, was the thing I wanted to read, I hope it's true because Asian peope stick to their words and this is really important for them which I hope for a luck for us.

HTC said that it had only ever said that the phone would be delivered “in October” and that it is still on schedule.
HTC may be saying that they haven't broken their promises to the consumer, that much is true but there has been a delay.
Someone told all of the retailers it was going to be available the end of last week and then changed their mind at the last minute. That can only have been HTC.

Its one trade off against them all, everyone has a different side, different theory.
OK I'm on the verge of cancelling my DHD order now. I'm being tempted by WP7 with every new bit of info I read about it. It DOES technically do multi-tasking too in that you can "pin" the apps you use more often onto your home screen and they become active thumbnails in effect so the app is constantly running right there on your home screen.
Only problem is that if I DO get one, I'll then have to buy CoPilot again (when available for the OS) and that'll mean I then have it for all 3 of the main phone OS'........lol
I just don't see what the DHD will really offer me over my current HTC Desire.
Am I wrong? Do I just want the new tech? Probably........
This link to Pricerunner.co.uk says that the HTC Desire HD is IN STOCK at Amazon.co.uk. At Amazon, however, it still says "November 15"...
I have a contact here in Sweden who's been on the phone with HTC and got the information from them that the phone is available in Sweden October 18, and THAT IT IS ALREADY AVAILABLE IN THE UK.
Updated post for information on Three UK carrying..Only found that I was looking into a Windows Mobile 7 Phone *shhhhh don't tell anyone *
FURTHER EDIT
Updated again to show India price for Desire HD
I guess the DHD will cost more than 28000 in India.. Currently the price of the Desire in the Indian markets is anywhere between 26000 and 27000.... The DHD must be more expensive than that...
As it is, looking at the previous trends HTC has been following... there is usually approximately a 6 month delay between the UK launch and the Indian launch... The prices might drop by then... Will update the price from the Indian grey market as soon as it is available there....
Just spoke to them as I am patiently waiting to upgrade to the HD, especially since I dropped my Galaxy 7500 into a sink and it stopped working. Using my old HTC Touch Diamond as a stop gap - Windows Mobile 6.1 sucks big time after using Android!
They don't have any record of this phone on their coming soon list and the guy suggested I just keep an eye on their website and call back when it is listed. He did note on my account that I had registered an interest in the handset but I doubt that will mean anything.

I heard that O2 won't stock it for business reasons (Sales and upgrades team has been briefed). I found that in the O2 forums.
My 2 pennies is they don't want it so they can try and push for the exclusivity on the new iphone maybe?

Got an update from MPD saying that my phone was expected before the end of October, I ordered on the 8th.
As for the Windows Mobile 7 OS, I really can't see anything that appeals to me, Android (especially with HTC Sense) wins on every count for me personally.
I did have a Windows Mobile once, about 2006-07 ish. It was a Mio A701, bought mainly for it's built in GPS. Fairly decent OS for the time, better than Symbian at the time, certianly. Shame mobile data was bad value at the time, on O2 I worked out it would cost £21 an hour to listen to internet radio!!

I had an 8GB omnia but it had loads of problems..Just Win mo..problematic...Phone 7 does seem like an improvement. As i've said, I'll look at it in 18 months and see where it stands.
£21!! ..must be some damn good high quality stream lol
