Try removing the battery first to see if this restart sorts things out
If not try shining a torch or bright light at the phone, there were issuses with the sensor that tells the phone when its in your pocket before.
Perhaps this is you issue too??

Did you ever get a new one?
Mine is having the same issue -- it's only 6 days old!!!!
Does anyone know how I tell if it's a water damage issue?
I know how to check on the battery--- it is still white. But is there another spot?
I had the Ghost Armour put on it --- I noticed she was spraying water .. so I think that's where the damage occured. I just want to know before I send it in for repair

Usually when they put that plastic protector on the phone they use isopropyl alcohol. I bought one for my screen and it got inside the phone and made dark spots on the screen and it took a day for the alcohol to evaporate and the screen to return to normal. How long ago did she put the protector on it?

If there is some still in the phone causing problems with the phone I would recommend taking the battery out and letting it sit for a day so it doesn't cause any permanent damage.
