hi, new to this forum business! Bought a new htc desire hd few days ago. Not bought any new apps or anything yet. When i try accessing the people app that came on the phone, and which is where all my contacts are saved, i get a message that pops up and says "Sorry! The application People (process com.android.htccontacts) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again". I have tried again several thousand times, turned the phone on and off, un-synced facebook incase it was that, and it still wont let me open in. Getting very stressed and wondered if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. I have in the meantime emailed HTC but doubt i will get a response soon.

Unfortunately the first thing you need to try is a hard reset. Back up anything you want to keep (search forums for how) though as it'll wipe the phone; sdcard is safe though.
