Default HTC Desire S Screen Freezes Often

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum. I have got HTC Desire S and facing problems . The problem with my phone is that it freezes every now and then in approx everything like calling, messaging, browsing and even watching movies/pictures. Sometimes, i have to press the touchscreen for a longtime and it starts working while at some moments this technique doesn't work and i have to lock the screen using power button and then unlocking it restore the previous work that i was doing on it. this situation is very much annoying for me and making me crazy.

Please please help me, suggest me the reason and possible solution ASAP.

Thanks in advance.

Did you try restarting the phone? Have you noticed a pattern when the screen freezes?
It used to happen to my phone when the corners of the screen were moist or had a little bit of water/sweat. I too had to lock the screen and unlock it to make the screen work. It still sometimes freezes because I sweat a lot and it gets wet when I put it to my ear .
