Exclamation Desire Z (G2) headphone Play/pause

For some reason.. my stock htc headphones wont forward rewind.play or pause.. the default music player! they do work cuz they play/pause mspot and double twist... i unistalled both restarted my phone.. took out the battery.. im about too reset it soon.. but just wondering if any other HTC desire Z owners have experienced a similar problem and found a solution (i've searched and found no1 with a similar problem.. must be in my settings or something).

scratch this... had time to reset.. after unistalling bunch of music apps.. and works fine now

Yes, those buttons can only be linked with one app at a time. You'd think they could make it contextual, but apparently not. All apps compatible with those buttons should have a setting to use them or not: make sure that all of them but the app you want are disabled.

Also, there is a dedicated Desire Z forum, this thread probably belongs there.
