Default HTCSense.com features

I was looking at the HTC devices on their website and I saw this:

Quote:
You’re likely to become very attached to your HTC Desire Z. That’s why we had the idea to bring the HTC Sense experience online. Can’t find your phone? Use HTCSense.com to show you that it’s under your sleeping cat. Worried you’ll miss something because you left it at home today? Use HTCSense.com to forward your calls to another number. Frantic about personal data on your phone that’s been lost or stolen? Log into HTCSense.com to quickly lock and wipe it remotely.
I thought this was awesome, I have tried looking for a list of features that come with using HTCSense.com but I can't. Could anyone tell me? Does the phone get a call or does it use GPS?

Cheers.

Last I heard, half the "features" either didn't work or worked sporadically. Tbh I took a quick look at it when I got the Z, created an account and promptly forgot about it.

Does this only apply to Z phones? I thought the HTCSense worked with all HTC phones?

No, but the quote you posted may have given the impression that it was the Desire Z you were discussing.

It's only my personal opinion. My contacts are already synced with Google without any HTCSense.com involvement, and I use another app which offers SMS backup/sync capability, remote locking/wiping etc.
