HTC Desire Z sense 3.0

Hello, I am new to this forum..
I own a HTC Desire Z with Android version 2.3.3 and HTC Sense Version 2.1

So i have seen a couple videos of Sense 3.0 and now i wana have it.

Can someone please help with.
I have searched how to do it.
But i dont understand it.

Can someone please help me with it.
Step by step.

The only way to get Sense 3.0 on the DZ is to root it and then install a third-party custom ROM that includes it, such as Virtuous Unity. See the All Things Root sub-forum for guides and various discussion topics.

I am also new to this forum as is my DZ (that was yesterday ... nothing like it ). I am interested in Gingerbread particularly for the power management gains -- this beast really sucks power. I have searched tirelessly for the "official" upgrade ROM (supposedly up to 161MB) without success ... HTCdev aren't cooperating at the moment. I see Ravin got the upgrade ... how?

What is Sense 3.0 and should I be aroused? If "yes", then I percieve I shouldn't even be bothered with an "official" ROM. Any side-effects arising from that independence? In any case, I'd also appreciate URLs for downloading to these things.
