Default Where is the proximity sensor?

Where abouts is the sensor that detects if you are holding the phone up to your ear and dims the screen?

Need to modify my wife's case (like what I did with her old iPhone case) as it doesnt turn the screen off, or if it does it doesnt turn it back on afterwards!

James

If you look closely, the black border arround the screen. Top left of screen, left of the HTC logo, nearly in the corner.... there are 2 small sensors behind teh border. You may have to tilt it at different angles before you can see it. Its difficult, but its there

Easier way to try and find it is call your service provider (usually a free call) and lay the phone down then move your finger around over the top of the phone, you will soon realise where the sensor is because the screen would go off!
