is there any application where if someone sends you a sms you can put a password on the sms to open it,useful forbad boys like me and i dont want my wife to read the message cheers

Handcent allows you to protect your messages, but afaik it is only applicable to every message, not particular ones...

the phone itself actually gives you the option to not display the txt message, so u will only recieve a notification, then you just set unlock pattern and she wont be able to get into your phone to read your message.

what if you want to hide/lock messages from a certain person, any software to do that?
or any software which locks the 'messages' app completely but leaves other parts of the phone unlocked

I use chompsms from market. It allows u to put unlock code on messages app only and have the rest of the phone unlocked...fab!
Can thoroughly recommend for privacy!

Spc....superprivateconversation from market allows u to hide msgs and
Calls from an Individual. I loved this at first but had lots of force closes.
