Default How to save to SD card??

Hi all, new to the Desire so thought I'd ask a silly question.....

When I download an app, does it save to the phones memory or the SD card?? Also, when I'm in "bulk storage" mode when plugged into my PC via the USB, I assume the window that pops up is the SD card as opposed to the phone memory?? Is there any way to check what is saved to either location???

Thanks in advance.......

Currently, all apps are saved to the phone memory (unless you jump through a few hoops). However, some apps that require a lot of data may store that data on the SD card.

When the Android 2.2 update hits your phone later this year, you should easily be able to store your apps on the SD card.

The window that you see on a PC is indeed showing you the SD card contents. You can download a file manager from the market to examine the contents of the phone memory itself if you so wish.
