Default aaargh! HTC Desire, Orange, Network Locked

Debranded my Orange phone when I got it about 4 months ago, everything worked fine until last night.

Update came through OTA, upgraded the phone, rebooted and it's now Network Locked.

Tried to downgrade the ROM again and I get 140 Bootloader Error...

Help please!

can this be a problem caused by debranding?

was about to jump into creating a goldcard and get the debranding process underway but im unaware of the problems that can be caused..

is there a compiled list anywhere?

Orange branded phones are the most prone to simlock after you update the radio using the goldcard method.
Apparently some other branded phones can simlock too.

Like anoniemouse says, updating the radio causes a sim lock on orange phones which have been unbranded. The OTA will have included the updated radio resulting in the sim lock.

dd1989 have you tried flashing hte previous radio?

I found a seller on eBay called swiftsales714, they sell unlock codes for this. Really helpful, answered all questions and very fast code delivery.
