Default 2 faults i have encounterd in the last few days

1 Recently i have noticed that the optical track pad is not working although i can press it.
2 It has also decided that it wants to turn itself off at random times possibly twice a day.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix these??

Can't help with the first issue but mine too was switching off, mainly at night and very loudly restarting - very annoying!

I've since switched off auto-sync and I sync manually and since I've done this, I've not had the problem and been auto-restart free for a few days. So far so good....
